Brandy is a Hartsville, SC, native. She is a graduate of Coker College and Winthrop University, and is a Licensed Psychoeducational Specialist who is certified by the SC Board of Education as a School Psychologist II and the National Association of School Psychologists as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She has been employed with SC school districts as a psychologist for over a decade, and she previously served on the board of the South Carolina Association of School Psychologists as the Public Relations Chair and the Greenwood Regional Delegate for several years.

Brandy has extensive experience and training working with preschool children and children from culturally diverse backgrounds. She is well-versed in special education law and has a wide range of knowledge in SC special education practices and procedures, psychoeducational assessment, and academic and behavioral intervention. She is passionate about helping all children and adolescents meet their potential in the classroom and beyond.

Brandy is married to Cesar, a fellow educator, and they have 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
